We’re Creating the Community
The dreams we share unite us, inspire us, and drive us toward a bold vision for the future. At Golden Belt Community Foundation, we connect motivated people to the right resources, so they can create the community of their dreams in Rush, Pawnee, Stafford, and Barton counties.
Vision
Engaging doers and dreamers to build spectacular thriving communities
Mission
We bring extraordinary people together to plan for a vibrant future with our family, friends, and neighbors creating remarkable legacies.
Values
Innovation
We believe it often takes bold innovative thinking and actions to find the imaginative solutions that spark lasting change.
Collaboration
We believe we are stronger working together in order to leverage the resources of diverse partners and maximize our organizational capacity and community impact.
Fair & Equitable
We believe fairness and equality develops an environment of trust and respect with just, transparent and inclusive systems that lead to more effective practices.
Integrity
We believe integrity is at the heart of a relationship where commitments are honored and the spirit of generosity can be nurtured.
Strategic
We believe thinking and acting strategically keeps us focused and efficient, moving intentionally toward an agreed upon vision.
Creativity
We believe that the power of imagination is greater than the challenges we face. We celebrate what works. We pursue the new. We learn as much from failure as we do from success.
Knowledge
We strive to be a source of knowledge for the regions we serve. To exemplify this we consistently train and educate our Board and staff in order to better serve our donors and constituents.
Our Founding Donors
We are forever grateful to the 37 founding donors who invested in Golden Belt Community Foundation in its formative years. Although the concept of a community foundation was new, these donors believed in the mission and vision for the Golden Belt area.

We work to support the causes our community cares about, from supporting the health and well-being of our youth to cultivating leadership within the counties we serve. National Standards says that we meet the most rigorous standards in philanthropy and is a promise to our community that we’ll continue to do this good work together, right here in the Golden Belt.
National Standards is not mandatory. We chose to go above and beyond by affirming our commitment to excellence and accountability. Our accreditation provides assurance that we have sound policies and practices in place. In short, it means we meet the highest standards for local giving.
To receive accreditation with National Standards, Golden Belt Community Foundation submitted our policies and procedures to a rigorous review of 41 National Standards in six key areas of community foundation operations, including donor services, investment management, grantmaking and administration.
The National Standards for U.S. Community Foundations® program was established in 2000 in cooperation with the Council on Foundations. For more information about National Standards, visit www.cfstandards.org.
