Who should view the Wish List?

Individuals, families, and businesses are encouraged to view the Wish List at - and be sure to check back often as new wishes are added as they are received. This is our way of keeping you connected to needs in the community.

How can I help fund a wish?

If you see a Wish List item that you want to support you have a few of choices about how to help:
- If you have a Donor Advised Fund at the GBCF, then you may recommend a grant from your fund to fulfill one or more wishes, or to partially fulfill a wish.
- Individuals, families, and businesses without a donor advised fund are encouraged to contact the organization directly and explain that they would like to help with an item they learned about on the GBCF's Wish List.
- If you would like assistance with your charitable gift, or wish to remain anonymous, then the GBCF can accept a donation designated for a specific charitable organization and direct it for a Wish List item.

How often is the Wish List updated?

The Wish List will be updated as organizations submit new items for their list.  When a wish is granted, then this also will be reflected on the page.  We encourage organizations and/or donors to let us know when a wish has been granted so that it may be marked as such on the list.

Does my organization qualify to submit a wish?

Barton, Pawnee, Rush, and Stafford County, Kansas organizations are limited to 501(c)(3); 509(a)(1), (a)(2), or (a)(3); private operating foundations; government (including Native American tribal) for public purposes; and schools.

What items or projects are appropriate for the Wish List?

You should identify specific items or projects. Examples include, but are not limited to, technology, equipment, and supplies. Your request must include a whole dollar amount.  We will not publish annual campaigns or fundraisers.  GBCF reserves the right to refuse to publish your list and/or specific items on your list.
